Greetings,
Please find attached, information on our annual Unifor’s Charity Golf Classic. This event is being held with the support of the Ontario Regional Council and many of our Local Unions.
In the past this event has brought together members, local unions, volunteers, sponsors, and employers, raising much needed funds for some very worthy causes. Now more than ever, in the face of the challenges our country and communities are facing, the more vulnerable in society need us more than ever. We are proud to inform you that in 2024, we were able to raise and donate $35,000 to Raising the Roof, a non-profit organization dedicated to long-term solutions to homelessness. Thank you to those that helped make this happen.
This year’s event is being held on Friday June 13, 2025, at the Granite Ridge Golf and Country club in Milton. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and having fun all in the name of a good cause. More details can be found on the accompanying/attached registration form.
Due to the anticipated interest for the event, we are asking that you register your team as soon as possible to avoid missing out on a great day. The tournament will be a “scramble” format, so you do not have to be an expert in golf. Please note in order to maximize the enjoyment of the event we have had to cap the numbers the last 2 years and have been sold out each year.
